The X-Card contains information that families may use to get back together should they become separated during a disaster. The Card is set up to be used with code, or you can flip it over and write yor message on the additional information side. The Card is in durable plastic so it will not be affected by the weather and will last for years. Use a fine point permanent marker to write your message, and wipe it clean with rubbing alcohol when it is no longer needed . Each book comes with two X-Cards.             The Evacuation Phone Card contains the phone number of your long distance contact for check-in and distribution of information. There is also a space for a secondary number as a back-up should your primary be on vacation, or unable to distribute inforation for whatever reason. On the back of this card is space for code information to be used with the X-Card. Once you have all the information on the card, you can laminate it so it will last longer in your wallet or purse. Each book comes with two Evacuation Cards. As stated, each book comes with two X-Cards and two Evacuation Cards. Extra sets (1 of each card) may be purchased at $2.00 per set, so each family member will have their own.
